SummerFest is a signature Ankeny event that the whole community enjoys. Prairie Trail has proudly sponsored July’s SummerFest Parade for the past five years.
2014 Summerfest theme was Blast Off!! Prairie Trail residents built rockets and joined the parade walk, handing out Wells Blue Bunny ice cream treats to attendees. Congrats to the Montanges who won the best rocket building contest.
The SummerFest theme in 2013 was Get Loud! So, we filled the little red firetruck with clappers and candy to start off with a bang!
